  • At SHS Preschool each child enrolled is prioritized in the care provided to them. Children’s individual growth levels are determined through specific needs-qualification, whereupon they are placed in classrooms alongside peers ranging in similar development, which supports a rhythmic accelerated learning process in unison.

    Our preschools are staffed by highly trained, certified professionals who deliver personalized care and maintain a secure environment.

    We offer a full-time preferred preschool option, including infant-to-toddler nursery care, seasonal enrollment, afterschool-care, and various other options depending on location.

    The provisions cater comprehensively to children from two-months-of-age to six-years-of-age, ensuring a continuum of care and education that is both inclusive and adaptive.

SHS, Inc. Community Preschool offers full-time preschool, nursery care and afterschool care, for infants as early as two-months, and children up to six-years-of-age.

    The center spans a large education facility, to include spacious classrooms and an expansive high-fenced outdoor playscape.

    This center’s capacity holds up to to 91 children, including 26 infants.

    Children enjoy a dynamic learning experience through STEM-supported activities, indoor-outdoor playtime, music, arts and crafts creativity. Classrooms are peer-placed, supportive for observational learning and camaraderie.

    Based inside a smaller education facility, offering a centralized, nurtured learning experience.

    This center’s capacity holds up to 37 children in preschool and kindergarten

    Children enjoy a more intimate learning experience equipped with atmospherically curated classrooms designed to enhance cognitive development. Children feel safe, have fun and free to creatively explore.

    Children enjoy hands-on exercises, group experiments, team-building and creative activities, and exploratory field trips. Classrooms are peer-placed, where children benefit from observational learning and camaraderie, sharing achievements at similar rates.

    Our highly trained, certified staff and skilled teachers ensures children respective to their program receive the most optimal care, providing individual needs-based assistance with children requiring more guided support developmentally. Accordingly, our teachers often work classrooms in pairs to maintain an overall class balance, while also effectively prioritizing one-on-one support where applicable.

    Developmentally appropriate programs are both age appropriate and individually appropriate. The program is designed for each age group served and is implemented with attention to the needs and differences of the individual children enrolled.

    A supportive social and emotional climate is created which helps to build the children’s self-confidence, self-discipline, curiosity, sensitivity toward others and a better understanding of themselves.

    Each classroom has a teacher who plans and implements the daily program. He/she is responsible for developing the classroom curriculum to meet the individual needs of the children, coordinating parent classroom volunteer schedules, and providing parents with training while they assist in the program.

    The Teachers carry out the daily educational program. Class schedules include curriculum-based activities including outdoor learning time, indoor learning time, child initiated/teacher initiated activities, small and large group lesson periods, music, art, dance, rest time, etc. Children are introduced to the concepts of words and numbers. They are encouraged to express their feelings and to develop self-confidence and the ability to get along with others. Children begin learning simple responsibilities and rules. Classes are divided by age, with consideration made as to individual student needs, talents and interests. Each child receives a variety of learning experiences to foster intellectual, social and emotional growth.

    Volunteer parent assistants in the classroom are vital to the quality of our program. Parents are not limited on the number of times that they may participate in the classroom and are encouraged to participate frequently.
